Harp Isles Guides

How to play, grow, fly, and survive the alien isles after public launch.

Guides Hub

This hub is the map of every Harp Isles how-to on the wiki. The game is a Roblox creature survival title: you pick a DNA strand, become an Avatar, then keep hunger, thirst, and health alive while other players and NPC swarms try to eat you. Launch week is noisy. Use these guides in order instead of guessing in a tornado.

Start here

  1. Getting Started — diet pick, first spawn, daily login, and how to avoid fake places.
  2. Controls — ground, swim, dive, and the menu stack.
  3. How to fly — max flight speed, dive speed, turn radius, torque, and brakes.
  4. How to grow — food, water, growth stages, and the grind.
  5. Skill tree — research files, wait timers, and what to unlock first.
  6. Crafting — ovens, stations, dart plants, and resource loops.
  7. Disasters — tornadoes, firenados, meteors, floods, earthquakes, acid rain.
  8. Packs and trading — packs, nests, mixpacking after the EA overhaul, and the trade hub.
  9. Combat — collision, two basic attacks, the lunge minigame, and when to refuse a fight.

If you only want a ranking, leave this hub and open the tier list or the avatar roster. If you only want freebies, use codes.

What these guides assume

Harp Isles is released. Early access in July 2026 was a closed tester slice. Public servers opened 29 August 2026. Features named in the official FAQ and tester videos — skill trees, packs, nests, trading, disasters, mutations, subspecies — are the systems we write against. Numbers will shift in patches; the loops will not. When a patch lands, the updates hub is the changelog, not this page.

Player intents we cover

  • How to play — diet strand, spawn cutscene, map pin, first food.
  • How to get DNA, shards, research files, subspecies, and revives.
  • How to fly without motion sickness or a fatal dive.
  • How to grow without starving a carnivore on a herbivore island.
  • How to complete a skill tree and daily streaks.
  • How to beat disasters and adult PvP when you are still a juvenile — start with combat.
  • How to protect a nest and a pack claim.

How we pick videos

Each guide embeds at most one real YouTube video in the middle of the article. We used launch-week and pre-launch footage from testers and recap channels (flight showcases, FAQ, map looks, mission lists). We do not invent video IDs. If two videos cover the same topic, we keep one page.

Suggested first hour

Claim daily rewards, pick a forgiving beginner Avatar, fly only after you can sprint and swim, and park near water and a food node. Do not start a long research timer until you can sit still for it. If PvP is ruining the tutorial, look for the PvP toggle discussion in how to grow and play a quieter biome from the map picker.

When you outgrow the beginner loop, use the research planner and the subspecies page so you do not spend Bleed Santa Hiros-level rewards on a dead-end build.
