Harp Isles Subspecies Tier List
Health, damage, speed — and the named forks that actually change the kit.
Subspecies are how Harp Isles avoids “one stat block per render.” Testers described health, damage, and speed as the basic forks, plus unique looks, palettes, and sometimes size (apex talk). A Two-Jactal-style flight fork was used to prove air stats can diverge. Bleed Santa Hiros was a named grant on the early-access mission pass. Rank the fork, then the species.
Biology and unlock steps live on subspecies. This page is only power.
Speed — S for chases, C for caves
Speed forks win retreats and punish wide turn-radius predators. They also empty hunger faster and fail in porous terrain. Take speed if you already understand how to fly. Do not take speed as a first beginner body.
Health — S for learning, A for PvP
Health forks forgive disasters, plant venom, and bad landings. They lose chases. For launch week, health is the default “I want to finish a tree” pick. In organized PvP, health without damage becomes a punching bag.
Damage — S in packs, B solo
Damage forks finish adult fights and NPC bird piles. They need food and a brain. Solo damage on a contested pin is how you donate a corpse to the next flier. Pack it.
Unique / named forks
Asymmetrical kits (Sentis’ Areni) and call-focused kits (San’ Dahyros) are unranked until you feel them. Unique is not S. Unique is a question mark that might be B. If a fork only changes a pattern, it is cosmetic — put it with palettes, not with this list.
Apex forms, if they are size plus stats, sit above subspecies. Do not spend mutation vials on a kit you have not grown once. Vials were tester loot, not a beginner drop.
Spend order
- Finish one adult on the default body.
- Read the species tree — skill tree.
- Pick the fork that matches your death log (starved → not speed; dived into dirt → not more dive; lost 1v1s → damage or pack).
- Spend the item.
Trading a named subspecies on day two is how you get underpaid. Wait for the trading hub to have prices, or do not trade it.
Event forks
Ashes Awakening may add dragon-adjacent subspecies. Ghouls Rising may add ugly ones. Until they exist, do not pre-rank leaks. The events page will link back here when a fork is real.
If a seller offers “all subspecies unlock script,” that is a safety problem, not a bargain.
Fork plus tree, not fork instead of tree
A speed fork with no mobility nodes still pancakes. A damage fork with no food economy still starves. Apply the fork, then spend files in the matching bucket on the research planner. Forks are not a skip button for the skill tree.
If two forks are available and you cannot decide, pick health until you have one adult kill or one disaster survive that you can describe in a sentence. “It looked cool” is not a sentence that keeps you alive.
Watch patch notes for fork-specific nerfs. Launch recodes love to flatten the first outlier. Recheck this page after the updates hub logs a combat tweak, especially if Two-Jactal-style flight forks start winning every clip. Outliers get patched. Your DNA does not get refunded automatically.,
