Harp Isles Getting Started

From the Harp Atelier door to your first adult Avatar without a scam or a starve.

Getting Started

Harp Isles is a free Roblox creature survival game. You play as an Avatar, not a gunner. Public servers opened 29 August 2026 after a closed early-access slice in July. This guide is the first hour: join the right place, pick a diet you can feed, spawn without panic, and leave the menu with a plan.

1. Join the real game

Open the experience from our official links page. Creator must be Harp Atelier. The title should look like Harp Isles [LAUNCH ]. The play button is free. If Robux is required, you found the scam pattern that already burned people in 2024.

Favorite the place and join the Harp Atelier group so it does not vanish from Recents. Discord is optional but useful for codes later: Discord.

2. Claim daily rewards before you spawn

The official blurb tells you to claim Daily Rewards every day. Do it in the menu. Streaks mattered to testers (five-day mission). Details sit on daily rewards. Promo codes are separate and were not confirmed on launch day.

3. Pick a DNA strand (diet)

First-run footage shows a research-port UI: you drag a strand that sets diet. Streams called out herbivore and omnivore. Carnivore exists in the FAQ as a core trio; extra diets (piscivore, insectivore) were asked about and not promised. Practical rule for hour one:

  • Herbivore if you want plants and fewer contested corpses.
  • Omnivore if you want flexibility while you learn controls.
  • Carnivore only if you already enjoy hunting in creature games.

Lock the choice with the starter planner and the beginner tier list. Do not pick a body because a thumbnail looked like an apex.

4. Customize, then spawn on purpose

The customization screen uses part colors and palettes, not the old texture-only look. Editing is free; saving a skin can cost shards. Skip spending until you have survived a day. Palettes for Robux or shards are cosmetics — they do not change diets.

Map selection lets you pick a spawn pin. Choose water plus cover, not a famous PvP ridge. You get a spawn cutscene; let it play so you understand facing and height. Then immediately find food and water. Growth, hunger, and thirst are real meters — see how to grow.

5. Learn movement before combat

Ground, swim, dive, then flight. The recode rebuilt locomotion to cut motion sickness. Read how to fly before you hold dive on a cliff. NPC birds will path through caves at you. Flytraps grab and venom. Dart plants shoot and also drop craft parts. You can fight them; you can also walk around them.

The lunge ability is a grab-style mini-game, not a CoS copy. Practice on NPCs, not on the first adult player you see.

6. Start one research, not five

Each species has a skill tree. Starting a node spends a research file and real time. Craft more files at stations when you can; do not dump your daily DNA into random nodes. The research planner exists so you pick survival or mobility first.

7. Social layer

Packs and nests are in the FAQ as launch systems. Join a pack before you pick a 1v1. Trading (shards, specimens, skins) belongs in the official hub — packs and trading. Never trade DNA on Discord DMs.

8. Know the week-one threats

Disasters on the launch list: tornadoes, firenados, meteor showers, floods, earthquakes, acid rain. When the sky turns wrong, stop researching in the open and read disasters. PvP may have a toggle depending on server settings; do not assume every server is a deathmatch.

If the first hour feels grindy, that matches launch previews. The fix is a safer Avatar and a pack, not a script.

When you finish this page, your next clicks are controls and how to fly. Everything else can wait until you have eaten twice.
